WHAT NATION?
The writing on the gable wall spells it out -- 'The conflict is about nationality.
The Republican Pan-Nationalist Front is unequivocal as to identity and purpose -Irish Nationalists for an United Ireland.
The media has no problem in accepting and presenting the Irish Nationalist package.
The reverse is the case for Unionism, in which there is a diversification of opinion as to both identity and purpose, which devalues the Unionist cause to almost an emperor without any clothes.
This uncertainty in Unionism gives license to the insular classification of Ulster Loyalist, which relegates Unionists to a minority not only within the context of Ireland but also within the United Kingdom and British Isles.
Furthermore, the Ulster Loyalist label condemns British citizens in Northern Ireland to be perceived as a maverick rare breed, unwanted and marginalised by the two main herds, namely Great Britain and Eire.
Loyalism in Ulster needs to return to basics, to that basic instinct bred within its heritage, which is enshrined on the Royal coat - of - arms, "Dieu - ET - MON - DIORIT" -- God and my (Birth) right.
The citadel of Ulster Loyalism is its British heritage, which is the enemy's prime target for destruction, but which is also an anchor against the onslaught.
British citizenship is God - given, and man has no right to take it away.
British citizens may not allure to any artificial illusion of nationality to appease or embrace political expediency. Loyalists in Ulster share a common identity with those in the rest of the United Kingdom. It is loyalty to their birthright that is paramount, therefore it is in essence,a British loyalty, and consequently loyalists in Ulster are fundamentally British loyalists.
The rest of the world views a conflict menu of a positive reading of unity for Irish Republicanism in comparison to a negative reading of partition and division for Unionism.
The palate of world opinion is tempted by ingredients of unification and reconciliation of Irish Republicanism, as opposed to the presentation of Unionist partition and intransigence, thus the Unionist dish is spurned as a pariah of the quest for a modern day one world order.
Unionism has allowed itself to be outmaneuvered and conditioned into an ineffective position through its own acquiescence to the political expediency of others.
The slight of hand of the political Welsh wizard, Prime Minister Lloyd George, conjured into place , the 1920 Act illusion of a Northern Ireland parliament, which moulded a buffer state lid over the cauldron, until the volatile ingredients boiled over and off went lid and pot and all, when the Stormont Parliament was prorogued in 1972.

The compromise conclusion to Republican attrition in 1920 against the British state, ceded twenty six counties in Ireland to Irish Republicanism, with six counties as N. Ireland remaining within the United Kingdom.
The condition in the 1920 settlement of a regional parliament in N. Ireland, proved to be schismatic in the party system tenet of the British constitution, with provincial orientated parties in place of national parties.
Moreover, a reliance on defence mechanisms from the regional parliament was defective, since it ignored an effective strategy against Irish Republican agitation in the rest of the United Kingdom, and in the final analysis Republican assertion of the N. Ireland parliament being a "white elephant" was proven to be no fallacy.
Since the end of the second world war there has been over one million Southern Irish immigrants in Britain. Despite being aliens they have been accorded all the rights of British citizenship; notwithstanding an anomaly which favours their interests, the Southern Irish in Britain have maintained their United Ireland republican aspiration with electoral clout and political agitation.
Labour party spokesman on Northern Ireland, Mr. Kevin McNamara, has been reported as stating that he is an Irish Nationalist first and a socialist second.
Furthermore, it has been assessed that on occasions Southern Irish immigrant votes have held the balance in between fifty and sixty marginal constituencies.
Present day illusionists, the spin - doctors of the new order, spin their webs to entangle Unionists in sugar coated compromises of political expediency, in which the hidden agenda is the eventual asphyxiation of Unionism.
"It is your task Reverend fathers, to subjugate and subdue, to conquer and rule an imperial race ----- we have to bend or break that which nations have found invincible and flexible. Were heresy conquered in England, it would be conquered throughout the world." Cardinal Manning, The Tablet. 1859.
In the Catholic Herald on 20 September 1985It was reported that Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Agostino Casaroli, was present in Dublin at a meeting of church and political leaders, who were implored by the Republic's Foreign Minister, MR. Peter Barry, to support a successful conclusion to an agreement on Northern Ireland being negotiated between the Republic and Britain.
Cardinal Casaroli entreated: 11 with a sense of realism and nobility of character that make your heritage, may Ireland go forward in freedom and peace."
Redemptorist priest Alex Reid, said to be the confessional priest of Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams, and his fellow Redemptorist, , priests of Clonard Monastery, were revealed by the Irish Prime Minister, Albert Reynolds, as having played a key part in the formulation of the Hume/Adams peace process culminating in the Anglo Irish Declaration.
In the Sunday Times on 19 December 1993 it was reported, ------the Irish Prime Minister, revealed the priests, carefully hidden role in briefing him --- "over some considerable time " by some Clonard priests---------.
Unionism must be true to its identity and should heed the words of Enoch Powell;
'Accept nothing of any kind, no arrangement, no initiative, no agreement by which Ulster and its people would be treated whatsoever differently from the rest of the United Kingdom.'
Unionists are citizens within the British state; it is the survival of the British state against which the Republican war of attrition is waged.
The latter is understood by Republicans, as revealed in a publication ( Irish Freedom 1993) ;-
'The relationship between Britain and Ireland is unique. Ireland is far from being just another British colony. Unlike any other it has been incorporated directly into the British state itself. The British ruling class ,claims its home territory to be the 'United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. As a result, what is at stake in the Irish conflict is the very survival of the state its credibility and authority, its capacity to rule. That is why the Irish question has been and still is so dangerous for the powers-that-be.
When the integrity of its own state is at issue, the British establishment drops the parliamentary facade and fights for keeps'
Unionists must assert with conviction their British citizenship and their cause to maintain the unity of the United Kingdom against the sedition of Irish Republicanism.
A dish may be made appetising by its presentation.
Unionism for unity as a positive cause should be presented before the world jury , as against Republicanism for disunity as a negative cause.
Ingrained in the mind of the world jury should be:-
UNIONISM FOR UNITY---REPUBLICANISM FOR DISUNITY
The conflict raging in Ulster is in essence a battle for the United Kingdom, and it must be viewed and fought in that light.
The Unionist position has faultered due to wavering off a sole objective, resulting in a diversification of flight paths landing unto low risk areas in relation to Republican grand strategy, which is the dismemberment of the British state.
Unionism's sole objective must remain unambiguously for equal citizenship within the United Kingdom :-
'We pledge ourselves in solemn covenant - to stand by one another in defending for ourselves and our children our cherished position of equal citizenship in the United Kingdom.
ULSTER COVENANT 1912.
TO what nation does Ulster belong ? - The answer is enshrined on the war memorials of the province, in Flanders fields and in past battlefields beyond; it is the nation of the Union of Jacob, the Union Jack, the national flag which represents the union of the British people into one nation, the British nation.
Ulster is in the Vanguard of a battle for the survival of the British nation - the enemy recognise this fact and it is imperative that the British citizens in Ulster do.
A NATION THAT VOLUNTARILY SURRENDERS TERRITORY IS A NATION IN DECLINE.
